Dual Credit Testing

Dual Credit testing allows high school students who have completed specific high school courses that align with 缅澳门天天好彩 courses to take end-of-course challenge exams to earn college credit. If students successfully pass the challenge exam with a grade of 70% of better, the credit will be transcribed onto their 缅澳门天天好彩 college transcript.

Career and Technical Education students who take the high school courses listed below may get college credits if they pass a test covering competencies from the matching college course. In most cases, college credits earned through Dual Credit testing will transfer to other colleges and universities, but students must consult their transfer institution to discuss their policy for accepting credits earned through Dual Credit testing.

Dual Credit Testing Procedures:

  • High School teachers may email聽testing@volstate.edu聽to request Dual Credit testing for their students. Once a test date has been coordinated, the聽Dual Credit Application for Admission and the Dual Credit Permission to Test Form聽must be submitted for each student. In addition, a $25 test administration fee will be due from each student prior to testing.

  • Study guides for each Dual Credit exam are available for teachers to share with their students. Information in these study guides, plus any course materials utilized by teachers in class, should be mastered thoroughly before students attempt the corresponding Dual Credit exam.
